How we handle your data, what you agree to when you use ConstructionPro.io, and how we keep projects secure.

The data controller for your account and marketing data is ConstructionPro Technologies Ltd. (trading as ConstructionPro.io). For privacy questions: privacy@constructionpro.io.
Account data — name, email, password hash, company name, role, and plan. Project data — budgets, invoices, documents, photos, contacts, and tasks you add. Billing data — handled by Stripe; we store subscription and customer identifiers, not full card numbers. Usage data — pages viewed, features used, device/browser type, and approximate location from IP. Support data — messages you send us.
To provide, maintain, and secure the service; to process subscriptions and trials; to send transactional email (OTP codes, invites); to improve product performance; and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
Contract performance (providing the product you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, product improvement), consent where required (marketing), and legal obligation where applicable.
We use sub-processors such as hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), payments (Stripe), and email delivery (Resend). They process data only on our instructions. We may disclose information if required by law. See Sub-processors.
We retain account and project data while your account is active. After closure, we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period unless law requires longer retention (e.g. billing records).
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact privacy@constructionpro.io. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, email OTP for sign-in, role-based access in the product, and industry-standard practices with our processors. No method of transmission is 100% secure. See Security.
Data may be processed in the UK, EU, US, or other regions where our processors operate, with appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) where required.
We process personal data in line with the UK GDPR and EU GDPR where applicable. Our data processing terms apply to all customers and cover scope, duration, confidentiality, security measures, and sub-processor conditions. A signed DPA is available on request at privacy@constructionpro.io.

Access to production systems is limited. Passwords are hashed. Sign-in uses email one-time codes. Billing is Owner-only. Role-based permissions limit who can see financial figures. If you receive a security alert you don't recognise, change your password and contact security@constructionpro.io.
